Hi, my name is Shannon Marie McCoy. I have been with the Depot since August 2016. I teach the 3-4-year-olds in Station 6. I have been a teacher for over 21 years. I have taught Private Kindergarten and Pre-K. Teaching is my passion. If I were to describe myself, I would consider myself a self-starter, goal oriented, outgoing, overachiever, and caring person. I am happily married to Michael McCoy. We will be married for 9 years in March.  I have 4 grown children, 3 grandchildren, and one adopted son. I own one dog named Daisy and one cat named Xena. My hobbies consist of church, reading my bible, drinking coffee, and collecting unique owls. Owls are so peaceful and enriched with grace. My favorite color is black and my favorite number 7. I have always loved that number since I was a child. I love to travel. I have seen many parts of the United States. I will be doing my first overseas mission trip to Haiti in June 2018. I will be sharing God’s love to orphans. I have a big heart for missions. I enjoy reading much of my time. My favorite book is the bible. God’s word fills me with things to face daily challenges. Also, I enjoy reading books about God and how I can apply it to my life. I have many fond memories as a child but my most cherished memories are my dad always being a part of my sports and activities. I have a bucket list to accomplish one day. The biggest one on my list is going to Jerusalem. I want to walk by the Galilee Sea as Jesus once did. I feel Jesus is my hero. He saved me and gave me a hope. When I am all alone I love to listen to the David Crowder Band and dance and worship my God.
