Assistant Teacher (18 Month Olds)

Hello my name is Charlene Cordery (AKA Charli). Currently I attend college to achieve my dream job of being a high school teacher. I come from a large family that I cherish with everything I have.  They support me in anything I do, including my strong passion for art. I have one cat named Sheldon and one dog named Mikey. I’ve been with The Depot since October 16, 2017. I feel very blessed to work with these children and this amazing team.  Being a part of the Depot team has helped me grow as a person, which I’m very thankful for.  God has blessed me with this stepping stone for my career. Children are the future, I’m glad I get to help them grow and watch them accomplish great things in their lives. 

   I would describe myself as funny, nice, trustworthy, joyful, caring, sweet and hard working.  Arts and crafts are such an enjoyment in my life; I love window painting! My favorite book is “Redeeming Love”. One of my favorite lines from a movie is “Love is like the wind; you can’t see it but you can feel it” from a “Walk to Remember”.  The daughter and daddy dance is one of my most memorable childhood memories.  One of the things on my bucket list that I would love to do is travel the world, get married, have kids and become a teacher.  Snow globes are a lovely collection of mine. My favorite color is turquoise, grey and dark purple; my favorite number is 3.
